Lionel Messi's contract talks with French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ended. Both sides are now ready to part ways this summer, with the return to Barcelona on the rise.

According to Le Parisien, negotiations between Messi and PSG agents have now been closed. They report that the two sides did not agree on the terms of the contract and are now set to reach a crossroads.

PSG want to keep Messi at the club and have been in talks with him since the FIFA World Cup winner returned in January. However, they could not find a way out.
