AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced his retirement from football at the age of 41 in an emotional speech following his last game against AC Milan in 2022-2023.

Ibrahimovic burst into tears in front of a crowd at the San Siro as he bid farewell to a fan club for his successful career.

“The first time I came to Milan, you gave me happiness, the second time you gave me love, I want to thank the fans,” Zlatan said. “You greeted me openly, you made me feel so excited.”
