Samdech Hun Sen urges people living in Phnom Penh to reduce the use of small private cars and return to the bus or bus to facilitate traffic during the 32nd SEA Games, which Cambodia is hosting .
“For the people of Phnom Penh during the SEA Games, please be patient and reduce the use of vehicles and encourage the use of buses or co-vehicles to reduce congestion and facilitate the transport of sports delegates and international guests.” Samdech Hun Sen said this during a dinner and talk with athletes at the Koh Pich Center on April 3, 2023.
Samdech Hun Sen also warned the next generation of Cambodians not to forget the ancestral heritage built for use today and in the future. Samdech Techo continued that even though Cambodia has just emerged from the war, the National Olympic Stadium can still continue to host the 2023 SEA Games and this is the fruit for the next generation of Cambodians.
Samdech Techo reminded: “Do not forget the growers, Samdech Preah Borom Rattanakoth Norodom Sihanouk.” The National Olympic Stadium was built during the reign of King Norodom Sihanouk. The Prime Minister also thanked the Chinese government for helping to build a beautiful new Techo Heritage Stadium to serve the 2023 SEA Games.
Before concluding, Samdech Techo thanked for attending the joyful ceremony and said that he would look forward to the good results with honor and national pride that came from his hard work and commitment to the event. The SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games 2023 were a great success.
It should be noted that Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, met and had a solidarity meal with about 4,264 Cambodian sports families at the Koh Pich Center.
