On April 27, 2023, the Ministry of Environment showed the presence of pink dolphins jumping on the water, lovely and confirmed that it is located in Prek Tnaot, Kampot province.

In connection with the pink dolphin, according to an account from Aplus Tripz, the pink dolphin in Kampot is the rarest species. Only in some countries and regions and not unexpectedly in Cambodia.

The source added that the dolphin had the Khmer name Indra-Pacific Humpback dolphin and the scientific name Sousa Chinensis.
