Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club announced parting ways with Conor Nestor, the coach after living together for 5 years. This is according to the official Facebook page of “Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club” on April 10, 2023.

Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng confirmed that the split was due to a foreign club asking for Conor to be the new coach there. The club added that the parting announcement was in line with an agreement between the two parties.

Conor Nestor, a 38-year-old Irishman, is currently living in Cambodia. According to the club’s official Facebook page, Conor will leave Cambodia next week.

Conor Nestor’s new club to take over is called “Hyderabad FC”, India’s top league. According to Instagram: Official Kingdom of Football “Cambodia’s local transfer market” posted on April 10.

It should also be reminded that Mr. Conor Nestor came to lead the Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng football team on January 1, 2018. In 2019, he helped Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng win the Metfone Cambodian League and he helped the team qualify for the AFC CUP Play-offs in 2020.
