Jose Mourinho banned 10 days by Serie A

June 30, 2023

Recently the Roma coach was fined 4 games by UEFA for his outbreak of anger at Aj Anthony Taylor center after the final defeat of their Europa League framework under the works of the Sevilla team.

He has now been charged by Serie A for the expression he made in the wake of Roma’s 1-1 draw with Monza towards the end of the 2022/23 season.

Mourinho said in the wake of confronting the court:

“I am not foolish, you know, today I went to compete with the microphone, I have recorded everything; from leaving the locker room to the moment I come back, I defend myself.

He was the worst referee I had encountered in my life; he was the worst; technically, he was really bad. No understanding, no communication, no understanding. He was really bad, he had no human contact with anyone, he had no understanding, he gave a red card to a player who blinked because he was exhausted in the 96th minute.”

Both Mourinho and Roma have also been fined 50,000 euros by the Italian FA, with managers to miss their season matches in August.
