Gold Medalist Pal Chorsmey Considers SEA Games in Cambodia Her Last Dream Before Retiring From Wovinam

Ms. Pal Chorsmey, Cambodian national wushu player, considers the 32nd SEA Games 2023 as the last big dream for her career. As the host, Cambodia urged Chhor Smith to continue playing for another year before retiring from the Vovinam national team.

In a recent live interview with the Digital Media on February 28, 2023 at the Cambodian Wrestling Training Ground, Pal Chorsmey confirmed that the 32nd SEA Games, the first historical event in Cambodia, is what she aspires and considers. A big dream for itself.”I am very proud that Cambodia has the right to host the 32nd SEA Games in 2023,” said Pal Chorsmey. “This may be my last event.”

Gold medalists from both the Asian Games and the World Championships in 23 wushu events have aspirations for more gold medals when Cambodia wins. In addition to 23 gold medals, Pal Chhor Smith also won 20 silver and 13 bronze medals at the Southeast Asian Games.Ms. Pal Chorsmey, who competes in the martial arts category, currently has one or two days of training, morning and afternoon. Chhor Smith’s training time and mode include 5:00 am, three laps, Olympic Stadium, 8:00 am, warm-up, 9-10am, 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm.
