Former Scotland international Graeme Souness has praised Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham after England won their last UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier. The English Lions beat Scotland 3-1 at Hampden Park on Tuesday (September 12) while Bellingham scored a goal and an assist. Phil Foden opened the scoring in the 32nd minute before Bellingham finished first in the box three minutes later.
The RealMadrid star's best time of the game came in the 81st minute when Harry Kane passed the ball perfectly. The Bayern Munich player made no mistake in finishing his game and scored 3-1. "For a young man to have that kind of football brain is not easy, I like to watch him play. Jude Bellingham is a real deal," Souness said.
Bellingham started in what looked like a 4-2-3-1 formation from GarethSouthgate's side on paper. . The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder also scored four of the five goals he tried before being substituted in the 84th minute. He now has two goals and three assists in 25 appearances for the Three Lions at just 20 years old.
