Cristiano Ronaldo ignored a kid’s heckle about his ongoing battle with Lionel Messi, instead focusing on a difficult game in Saudi Arabia’s top flight.
Ronaldo failed to pick up a goal contribution during Al-Nassr’s 3-1 comeback win over Al-Batin, as the Portuguese star’s side only secured the victory in stoppage time.
It was a particularly tough first half for the Riyadh-based club, as they went in at the break 1-0 down to Renzo Lopez’s effort.
The performance led a young fan to taunt the 37-year-old by telling the Portuguese megastar in English ‘Messi is better’ as Ronaldo was storming down the tunnel.
However, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player seemingly just ignored the verbal comment, instead expressing frustration about the way the match was going – particularly when they were expected to be favourites for the clash.
