Manchester United will sell veteran Casemiro in the January transfer window. Amid reports of his "huge desire" to join German giants Bayern Munich. Casemiro enjoyed his first season at Old Trafford, moving from Real Madrid in 2022.

According to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola, Bayer Leverkusen managers Xabi Alonso and Casemiro are discussing the possibility of a transfer next summer. Casemiro, meanwhile, is in the second year of his four-year contract with Man Utd, as his future looks far away from a Premier League club.

However, Casemiro made 51 appearances last season and helped United win the Carabao Cup in a 2-0 win over Newcastle United in February.

Bayern Munich currently have outstanding defenders Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, whom coach Thomas Tuchel is trusting. The 31-year-old, who has won five UCL titles with Real Madrid, is believed to have gained a wealth of new experience if his next club moved to Bayern.
