Argentine manager to lead Blues to his old club

November 7, 2023
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino and his trusted assistant Jesus Perez are set to return to Tottenham Hotspur for the first time since leaving the club. The assistant manager posted a picture of his cheek on social media showing how his loyalty has changed since he was at Tottenham. Pochettino spent five years in charge of Tottenham Hotspur, becoming a club hero and leading them to the UEFA Champions League final.

The Argentine manager will lead his Blues against the North Londoners, who have a chance to return to the top of the table. Chelsea appointed Mauricio Pochettino in the summer and he joined the club with his trusted team, including Jesus. Jesus Perez is back and he took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to show where his loyalty is now.

He posted a mixed picture of his wife and daughter and they were wearing a Tottenham shirt and a Chelsea shirt. His caption reads, "Love is color blind." The Spaniard, who has worked with Mauricio Pochettino for more than a decade, will hopefully finish on the winning team on Monday. The Blues need a win to get their season back on as they currently sit 13th in the table.
