Real Madrid announced the signing of Güler on a six-year deal until June 2029 from Fenerbahçe last summer.

Guler has since been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has not played for Real Madrid.

Ahead of Saturday's game against Valencia, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media at his pre-match press conference.


One of the topics he raised was the latest injury problem for young midfielder Arda Güler, he said:

"Unfortunately it happened before the game against Braga. It seemed like nothing, but it still bothered him. It's not serious, but he is stressed because he is young and wants to play and contribute. It's a small step back because it's back with the old injury but we have an international break to be Healed. ”
