The Man Utd manager remains optimistic about his side's chances, sharing his belief that despite a poor season, United are still in contention for the top spot.

Ten Hag told his club website:

"We have had a difficult atmosphere in the last two weeks with Copenhagen, Everton and Galatasaray. We are looking forward to it again because that's the best thing about football you have ever experienced and such a challenge - it energizes you as an individual and as a team. We will be ready for that match.

We have to play our best to get points there. Of course that was the goal, and we were in a great position.
