Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reacted mildly when an interviewer admitted strangely that the media was happy to see the club in crisis.

The Red Devils are on a spin after a poor start to the 2023/24 season, winning five of their last six Premier League games.

In a video with TNT Sports, interviewer Matt Smith claimed that the media was satisfied when United were in crisis. He said:

"Every week feels like a big week, but this feels like an important week for you. "A small point where the season can really get better or another crisis as we want to see from the outside."

Ten Hag smiled and replied:

"Oh, you like it? Okay, it's very honest. You want to see it, but we do not care. ”
