Don’t know yet! Neymar plans to leave Arabia to return to Brazil

September 28, 2023
Neymar is reportedly planning to leave Al-Hilal, with the Brazilian set to return to Santos ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The 31-year-old striker has just faced another challenge in his career while traveling to Saudi Arabia in August. There has been talk of the South American star agreeing a four-year deal with the Middle East. Reports of a two-year contract are said to be closer to the red mark, with Neymar not intending to stay with Al-Hilal for long. The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player will return to Santos in 2025, according to Brazilian journalist Ademir Quintino.

"During a conversation with a friend of Neymar's, I was informed that they had not signed a four-year contract with the Saudi club, but a two-year contract," Quintino said on his social media account. "Neymar could return to Santos a year before the 2026 World Cup."
Neymar, now Brazil's top scorer, has made just three appearances for Al-Hilal so far.
