Thoeun Theara also wants the world to recognize Khmer martial arts more and more.

Thoeun Theara, nicknamed the Killing Ax Player, recently gave an interview to the media that to become a good Khmer boxer, you need to train hard and listen to the coach’s advice. But more importantly, the encouragement and support of parents and teachers. The boxer considers these four people to be the key people behind his success.

“I have my parents, my teachers, they push me. His parents always encouraged him, while the teacher gave him advice. They told us that we have to be determined every time we play, to be strong.
