What does Captain Hugo Lloris say after Newcastle beat Spurs with a 6-1 result?

April 24, 2023

Tottenham bowled 5-0 after playing only 21 minutes at St James’ Park and ending the match with a 6-1 result in the Premier League match.

A weak defence and lack of will from Tottenham players put them in number and home team Newcastle move to 3rd place in the Premier League table.

This setback, they risk missed out on next season’s European Football clash and Lloris admitted their efforts against Newcastle were embarrassing and a little fickle.

Lloris told Sky Sports after the match:

“It’s really embarrassing and the first thing we should have done was apologise to the fans who had travelled and the fans who watched the match.

Apparently we have not shown a great face today. I think we cannot match the play of sports We were slow in all aspects of the match and we missed the initial part of the match.

Obviously the second half was another thing, but it was really painful today it was not to talk about tactics; it was just impossible to fight.

I think Newcastle have just had great form of play. They have a very bustling attack Every time they get the ball, they look forward to and maybe it is difficult to evaluate and analyse plays now.

But the first thing is that it may be lacking pride. To win four goals in 20 minutes … On the field, it’s as strange as we cannot react. Newcastle deserves a lot of accomplishments.

They started the race at 100 miles per hour and they were energetic and knew exactly what to do with The ball and without the ball, and we’re a little slow everywhere on the court in every aspect of the match.”
